Dr Nadia Shihab graduated from the University of Cambridge in 2005. After graduating, she completed a one-year internship at a specialist veterinary hospital in Cambridgeshire, followed by a rotating internship at the Royal Veterinary College in 2006.

Nadia enrolled on a three-year European College of Veterinary Neurology (ECVN) approved residency programme in neurology and neurosurgery at the Royal Veterinary College, successfully becoming a diplomate in 2010. She remained there for a further two years working as a neurologist in clinics and lecturing at the teaching hospital. In 2012, Nadia moved to a large multidisciplinary referral hospital in Hampshire, where she initiated the growth of the neurology service and became a clinical director.

In June 2024, Nadia joined Fitzpatrick Referrals neurology team.
