Noel Fitzpatrick will present the Fitzpatrick Referrals November lecture for Veterinary Surgeons, Cancer of the Skeleton in Dogs and Cats: New Horizons on Wednesday 23 November.
Cancer is an increasingly recognised problem in small animals and clients are ever more aware of advanced treatment options. This lecture will aim to equip Veterinary Surgeons with the necessary facts and figures concerning effective diagnosis and prognosis; furthermore we will explore the issues of limb amputation, palliative medical care, radiation therapy and newer evolution of surgical technique including endoprostheses and exoprostheses.
The desired outcome of this overview is to create a dedicated care team between the primary care clinician and the referral centre for the treatment of appendicular cancer in dogs and cats.
Lectures to date have been fully subscribed and Fitzpatrick Referrals advises anyone who wishes to attend to book now to guarantee their place. The lecture will take place on Wednesday 23 November at Fitzpatrick Referrals Conference Centre, Halfway Lane, Godalming, Surrey, GU7 2QQ.
Refreshments will be available from 7.30pm – 8.00pm and delegates will have the opportunity to take part in a Q & A session following the lecture.
Each lecture counts as two CPD hours.
