A major new TV documentary series, The Bionic Vet begins on Wednesday 30th June at 10.45pm on BBC1 and runs for six weeks …..
The programme chronicles the work of Noel Fitzpatrick and his team at Fitzpatrick Referrals. Noel believes that the practice stands for something that is quite out of the ordinary and that it is important to make a statement about this in the world we live in. This TV show is the first part of that statement. “At Fitzpatrick Referrals, we stand for giving owners all the options available in the world today in orthopaedics and neurosurgery.
We stand for the right of an animal to have the very best standard of care. We stand up for the right of an owner to make volitional decisions on behalf of their animal friend, having been given all the facts and all the options with honesty, compassion and integrity. We stand towards a new horizon of co-operation where human and veterinary surgeons can help each other with an attitude of cooperation and collaboration for the betterment of all species – animals and mankind. In so doing we augment the bond of unconditional love that exists between an animal and their guardian. This forms the basis of our ethos – One Life, One Medicine.”
