Fitzpatrick Referrals is looking for a registered veterinary nurse to join our wards team as a wards co-ordinator at our hospital in Eashing.
This role plays a key part of the organisation, overseeing the inpatient care for all our patients. The wards co-ordinator is responsible for co-ordinating the clinical team in wards to ensure our patients are getting the very best standard of care and to support the team in achieving this. The wards co-ordinator will be the main point of contact for the vets and nursing team for anything to do with inpatient care. You will also work as an RVN to support the wards nursing team with treatments and patient care where needed.
The role requires someone who can work under pressure and work collaboratively with stakeholders of all levels. It is therefore, essential the candidate possesses excellent people and communication skills, is proactive and resourceful with the ability to deal with a busy and demanding role. You will also be care-driven and exceptionally organised with a high attention to detail and the ability to take in and pass on information quickly.
This position is ideal for an experienced wards nurse who wants to take the next step in their career and take on additional responsibility whilst maintaining their love of inpatient care at the core of their role. Experience in a busy ward environment is essential, some experience in a role that requires an additional level of organisation or co-ordination would be beneficial but not essential as training, and support will be given to the successful candidate.
