Fitzpatrick Referrals is looking for a new Triage Administrator / Receptionist to join our practice in Eashing.
This role plays a key part of the organisation, predominantly working alongside the Senior Triage Administrator to support the triage of both emergency orthopaedic and neurology case referrals. You will be responsible for ensuring all emergency referrals are dealt with in a timely manner.
The role requires an exceptional candidate who can work under pressure and work collaboratively with stakeholders of all levels, it is therefore essential the candidate possesses excellent people and communication skills. You will be care-driven and exceptionally organised with a high attention to detail.
You will also work as part of the Reception team, for which the role includes but is not limited to meeting and greeting patients and their families, answering a high volume of telephone calls, managing busy appointment diaries, booking appointments, liaising with referring vets and other referral centres, dealing with email enquiries, cash handling, and updating and maintaining client records.
The role requires an exceptional candidate who can work under pressure and work collaboratively with stakeholders of all levels, it is therefore essential the candidate possesses excellent people and communication skills, is proactive and resourceful with the ability to deal with a busy and demanding reception desk. You will also be care driven and exceptionally organised with a high attention to detail.
Experience in a veterinary environment would be beneficial but not essential as training and support will be given to the successful candidate.
This position is part-time working 31 hours per week on the following working pattern, which includes working 1 in 4 weekends with time off in lieu given during the week:
- Monday 11am – 7pm
- Tuesday 2pm – 7pm
- Wednesday 2pm – 7pm
- Thursday 2pm – 7pm
- Friday 11am – 7pm
- Saturday 8am – 4pm (1 in 4)
- Sunday 10.30am – 4.30pm (1 in 4)
