Fitzpatrick Referrals is looking for a new receptionist to join our well-established team and provide the personal touch and high standards of care to our clients, their families, vets and colleagues at our busy, specialist veterinary orthopaedics and neurology hospital near Godalming in Surrey.
The right candidate will be an excellent communicator, proactive and resourceful with the ability to deal with a busy and demanding reception desk. We are looking for someone who is efficient, confident and empathetic.
The role includes but is not limited to, meeting and greeting patients and their families, answering a high volume of telephone calls, managing busy appointment diaries, booking appointments, liaising with referring vets and other referral centres, dealing with email enquiries, cash handling, and updating and maintaining client records.
This role is for an average of 26.5 hours per week working a fixed rota of Monday 12:30pm-8:30pm, Wednesday 12:30pm-7:30pm, Thursday 11:30am-7:30pm plus 1:4 weekends Saturday 8:30am-4:30pm and Sunday 10am-4:30pm. Applicants must be able to work all of these shift times.
